Rapid Rehousing moves people quickly from homelessness to housing by providing short-term rental assistance accompanied by support services. Rapid re-housing assistance is offered without preconditions — like employment, income, absence of criminal record, or sobriety — and the resources and services provided are tailored to the unique needs of the household. The program is designed for families who are experiencing homelessness and need temporary assistance in order to obtain and retain housing.
