Lamborghini hopes to signal a shift in the company's direction from making super cars focused on top speed to producing more agile, track focused cars with the Sesto Elemento.

This allows the Sesto Elemento to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a sensational 2.5 seconds, while top speed will be higher than 186 mph. La Sesto Elemento est officiellement présentée au Mondial de l'automobile de Paris 2010.

The Sesto Elemento is equipped with Lamborghini's 6-speed "e-gear" automated electrohydraulic manual transmission and an all wheel drive system, mated to a 5.2 litre V10 engine borrowed from the Gallardo Superleggera, generating 570 PS (419 kW; 562 hp) and 540 N⋅m (398 lbf⋅ft) of torque.
